Traditions make Special Memories

What a fun week it has been. Valentines Day is always fun in our home. It is one holiday where we all make each other cards instead of purchasing them. It is also one of the two times a year my husband attempts to make a card, with just a little grumbling along the way. He will retreat to my craft space with our girls and all I hear is grumbling and giggling. What sweet memories our girls will have with their father. No matter how old our children have gotten, they all love this tradition.

The card pictured is one of the valentines cards I made and it ended up going to my daughters teacher.

I made this card with the cricut craft room available at cricut.com. The penguin is from the cricut alphabet digital images and the corners and edging are from the cricut essentials digital images.

Back at it...

Well it's been way over a year, but I think I am going to give this another try. First let me tell you I have been scraping and making lots of projects, I just haven't posted them on here. I started not posting because I was working on Christmas presents and I didn't want to show my gifts before they were given. Then, well, it just got easy to not post. But recently a friend of mine has gotten me excited about sharing my projects again. So here it goes......

My husband is from the SF Bay Area and is a life long fan of the Giants and the 49ers. This is a multi-fold card I made for him for his birthday. It was right before the Superbowl and we had high hopes for two championship teams from the city. Well at least he got nice card from it. lol

I combined the colors from both teams but I used the 49ers SF logo because it was easier to maneuver around. I used everyday paper dolls cricut cartridge for all the sports emblems and my destinations cartridge for the San Fransisco frame.

On this layer I ended up putting Go Giants on the orange side and Go Niners on the red side. Sorry I don't have a picture of that.
